Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Delhi Capitals by 6 wickets in the IPL 2025 match played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday (April 27). Virat Kohli scored 51 runs from 47 balls for the Rajat Patidar-led side in the 163-run chase and added 119 runs for the fourth wicket with Krunal Pandya (73 runs from 47 balls). During his stay at the crease, Kohli hammered four fours. After scoring 51 runs in RCB’s seventh win of IPL 2025, Kohli teased KL Rahul with ‘This is my ground’ celebration.

For the unversed, after the RCB-DC IPL 2025 match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on April 10, Rahul performed the ‘This is my ground’ celebration, and several videos of it went viral on the internet.
The 51-run knock on Sunday in Delhi helped Kohli take the No. 1 position in the list of leading run getters in IPL 2025. In 10 matches for RCB this year, Kohli, with the help of six fifties, has scored 443 runs. In the Orange Cap leaderboard he is followed by Mumbai Indians batter Suryakumar Yadav. In 10 matches for MI, Surya has amassed a total of 427 runs.
RCB on top
The win over Delhi Capitals at Feroz Shah Kotla ground helped RCB take the No. 1 position in the IPL 2025 points table. The Bengaluru-based franchise have 14 points after 10 matches. If Rajat Patidar’s men win at least one of their remaining four matches, then they are guaranteed to qualify for the playoffs for the second season in a row.
Flop show by Rahul
Fans had high expectations from Rahul on Sunday against RCB, but the 32-year-old wicketkeeper-batter failed to impress with his batting. He faced 39 balls and, with the help of three fours, scored 41 runs. Even though Rahul top-scored for the Axar Patel-led side in their third IPL 2025 match at Kotla, he failed to score runs at the quick pace which put pressure on other DC batters, and as a result, they also failed to score big runs.
