Diljit Dosanjh recently faced backlash over his statement on the lack of proper concert infrastructure in India during his Dil-Luminati concert in Chandigarh. The singer left his fans shocked after he announced he would not perform in India until the infrastructure for live shows improved. Now, referring to his statement, singer Javed Ali has shared his opinion about the concert setups in the country.

Talking to ANI, the Kun Faya Kun singer said, “We receive so much love no matter where we go. In our country, artists are treated with enormous respect. I do not believe such love exists anywhere else. It is most important to be respected at home. No matter where you go, you will not find the same happiness. I love my country.”

During his concert in Chandigarh, the Born To Shine singer said, “We do not have the infrastructure to support live shows here. This is a significant source of revenue that employs a large number of people. Next time, I’ll try to position the stage in the centre so that the audience may surround it. Until this happens, I won’t be doing shows in India.”

Diljit concluded his Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024 with his last show in Ludhiana on December 31. He began his tour with Delhi, where he performed on October 26 and went on to perform in cities like Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Pune.

Recently, he shared a series of glimpses from his energetic performance in Ludhiana on New Year’s Eve. “VIBE CHECK KAR. Happy Happy New Year Folks. THIS IS MY CITY LUDHIANA. DIL-LUMINATI TOUR’s Grand Finale Doesn’t Get BIGGER Than This,” he captioned a clip that depicted the crowd grooving to his chartbuster track G.O.A.T.

Meanwhile, talking about Javed, he is currently enjoying the success of his recently released track titled Kismat which he created in collaboration with American-Indian composer Ayaz Ismail. The song was created during Javed’s USA tour in 2022.

The song was released on December 9 and is currently available on Ayaz Ismail’s YouTube channel.
