Jimmy Carter has died at the age of 100.
Tributes have poured in from across the globe for the former president – with lawmakers and politicians remembering him as an American hero who dedicated his life to public service.
Carter, who served as the 39th US President, died peacefully at his home in Plains, Georgia, on Sunday, December 29.
