The latest instalment of WWE NXT aired live on February 12 in India. Hosted at the company’s Performance Centre in Orlando, the show was packed with action and featured some major developments for Vengeance Day. The weekly wrestling event had five official fights on the matchcard, including two championship bouts. The show kicked off with some women’s action as WWE superstar Bayley went head-to-head with Cora Jade. Later on the night, NXT Heritage Cup winner Lexis King defended his throne against JDC. The main event saw a NXT North American Championship clash between Tony D’Angelo and Ridge Holland inside a steel cage.
Fans hear from Oba Femi
Oba Femi kicked off the segment by discussing his upcoming Triple Threat match against Austin Theory and Grayson Waller for the NXT Championship. A-Town Down Under interrupted the promo before Waller accused Femi of trying to turn him and Theory against each other. Next, A-Town Down began assaulting Femi. Theory hit him with the A-Town Down and Waller followed it up with a rolling stunner.
Ricky Starks makes NXT debut
Following a brief commercial break, Trick Williams was seen accepting Eddy Thorpe’s challenge to a Strap Match on Saturday. Moments later, Ricky Starks appeared in the crowd to make his debut in the WWE. Starks claimed every fan knew who he was. He believed that if NXT is the hottest brand then it also needed the hottest free agent. Starks further said he was at NXT to turn the show upside down.
Izzi Dame kneecaps Tony D’Angelo after championship bout
Once the main event was over, The Family looked to join Tony D’Angelo inside the ring. Ridge Holland pushed them out of the ring, before brawling with them to the back. Meanwhile, Izzi Dame and Adrianna Rizzo checked on D’Angelo inside the ring. Shawn Spears, Brooks Jensen and Niko Vance appeared at ringside as Dame helped the champion get back on his feat. Dame next kneecapped D’Angelo with a crowbar before hitting Rizzo with a chokeslam. D’Angelo and Rizzo remained laid out inside the ring as the show went off the air.

Bayley vs Cora Jade – Cora Jade won the match via pinfall with the DDT.
Hank and Tank vs Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura vs No Quarter Catch Crew – Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura secured a pinfall victory with a diving splashy on Hank Walker.
JDC vs Lexis King (c) for the NXT Heritage Cup – Lexis King beat JDC with the Coronation Hung Off the top turnbuckle to retain the Heritage Cup.
Nikkita Lyons vs Zaria – Zaria beat Nikkita Lyons with the F-5.
Ridge Holland vs Tony D’Angelo (c) in a Steel Cage Match for the NXT North American Championship – Tony D’Angelo won the fixture by pinfall using a spinebuster to retain the NXT North American Championship.
