Ricky Saints and Je’Von Evans got the better of Wes Lee and Ethan Page as Lola Vice beat Arianna Grace on WWE NXT.
Stephanie Vaquer, Moose and The Hardy Boyz on NXT (WWE)
The latest episode of WWE NXT, aired on February 25, featured some top-quality bouts. A few superstars made their in-ring debut while two Champion vs Champion matches were part of the roster. The show opened with a highly anticipated Women’s North American clash where Stephanie Vaquer defended her title against Karmen Petrovic. Giulia also showed up at the arena and challenged Vaquer in a singles fight to prove who was the best.
Moose, in his first NXT assignment, squared off against Lexis King, with his TNA X-Division Championship on the line. After the match was completed, Oba Femi appeared on the stage and announced his match against Moose, scheduled for NXT Roadblock.
Roxanne Perez featured in a brief segment and spoke highly of Jordynne Grace who pledged to make NXT the best women’s division in the world. Perez also opened up about her upcoming challenge at Elimination Chamber. She expressed her intention to become the world champion at the next WrestleMania.
When Perez was addressing the crowd, Arianna Grace came out of the tunnel and attacked her. She punched the former women’s champion on her face, making her flee off the scene. Later on the show, Grace took on Lola Vice in a one-on-one bout. The NXT episode also included a tag team match between The Hardy Boyz and No Quarter Catch Crew.
Let’s take a look at the results of the latest WWE NXT –
Stephanie Vaquer vs Karmen Petrovic: Vaquer struggled a bit at the early stage. She bounced back quickly and used the package backbreaker finisher to beat Petrovic, retaining the Women’s North American title.
Moose vs Lexis King: The two superstars traded some strikes before Moose took over the control with a big slam. He then countered the Coronation before launching a spear to defend the TNA X-Division Championship.
The Hardy Boyz vs No Quarter Catch Crew: It marked the return of The Hardy Boyz to the NXT circuit as the crowd welcomed them with loud chants. Jeff took out both the opponents with the Whisper in the Wind. He followed it up with the Swanton Bomb while Matt Hardy pinned the Catch Crew to seal the deal.
Lola Vice vs Arianna Grace: Lola Vice came up with the spinning back fist and pinned Grace to pick up an easy win.
Je’Von Evans & Ricky Saints vs Wes Lee & Ethan Page: Wes was taunting Ricky when Saints countered the Cardiac Kick and dished out the Ro-sham-bo to win the two-v-two clash.
