A look at the major highlights from the latest episode of WWE SmackDown that saw, during its main event, Nia Jax defending her title vs Naomi.

The latest WWE SmackDown was held at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The weekly wrestling event was filled with action and featured all the latest updates for the company’s upcoming premium live event WWE Survivor Series 2024. At the start of the night, a promo from the Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes greeted the fans. Later, Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa engaged in a huge brawl. The latest SmackDown episode also featured four official matches including three title defences. The night’s main event saw Nia Jax lay down her WWE Women’s Championship against Naomi.
Rhodes calls out Owens
Cody Rhodes walked out to a big reaction from the Milwaukee crowd as everyone got a look back at Kevin Owen’s vicious attack on Randy Orton last week. Owens hit The Viper with a piledriver, leading to Orton being stretchered to an ambulance. Rhodes called out Owens and said that he crossed a line that week. The Undisputed Champion was interrupted by Nick Aldis who revealed that Owens was not allowed in the building because of his actions last week. An impatient Rhodes left the ring before staring down the SmackDown general manager.
Nakamura returns to WWE
The latest episode of SmackDown saw LA Knight defend his title against Berto. After hitting his challenger with the BFT, Knight successfully retained the United States Championship by pinfall. He celebrated the win inside the ring as fans got a replay of the finish. However, Shinsuke Nakamura appeared out of nowhere to attack the champion. After a brutal beatdown, Nakamura left the ring with Knight still down and out.
Sikoa clashes with Reigns
The new Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa entered the ring to a chorus of boos from the crowd. He then raised the microphone asking the people of Milwaukee to acknowledge him. He was eventually interrupted by Roman Reigns and the OG Bloodline. They made their way towards the ring before staring down their foes. Chaos ensued as all eight men engaged in a brawl. After some back-and-forth action, Sikoa and his Bloodline stood tall over a fallen Roman Reigns,

- Bayley vs Candice LeRae vs B-Fab in the Women’s United States Championship Tournament: Bayley rolled up B-Fab to win by pinfall.
- LA Knight (c) vs Berto in a United States Championship Open Challenge match – Knight landed the BFT on Berto to retain his championship via pinfall.
- Motor City Machine Guns (c) vs The Street Profits in a WWE Tag Team Championship Match – Interference from Tommaso Ciampa resulted in a no-contest.
- Nia Jax (c) vs Naomi for the WWE Women’s Championship – Nia hit Naomi with the An-nia-lator to retain her title via pinfall.profits
