The Ying Yang Twins took over Brooklyn’s Barlcays Center for The Millennium Tour, joining some of hip hops biggest artists from the 2000s, including Omarion, Trey Songz, Bow Wow, Lloyd, Plies, Nivea and RSVP (Ray J, Sammie, Bobby Valentino, and Pleasure P).

Kaine, 46, and D-Roc, 46, from the 90s hip hop group Ying Yang Twins, spoke exclusively with DailyMail.com ahead of taking the stage at the packed house in Brooklyn, New York on March 21.

‘Go hard or go home. And that’s what we come to do. We come to go hard,’ D-Roc said about their motto when it comes to taking the stage for the 26-city tour.

‘We always have fun performing with each other because we never stop. We’ve been on the road since forever. Ying Yang [has] been forever.’

Reflecting on meeting some of their biggest fans, the dynamic duo from Atlanta, Georgia, can’t help but think how amazing it feels to ‘still be relevant.’

‘To still be relevant and to people that didn’t know you at the time when they were growing up and when they were little, and now they’re grown, and they want to be a fan, it makes it beautiful,’ D-Roc remarked.

When asked if they can share any advice for younger artists, they both agreed that the key is hard work.

Kaine told DailyMail.com, ‘Stay up and coming and make sure you come on.’

Meanwhile, D-Roc, who recently dropped his solo album Big Dreams, shared, ‘If you have a big dream, make it a reality.’

Kaine added, ‘Wake up and get to work.’

The Ying Yang Twins were one of the first artists to take the stage – and who could blame them with their burst of energy.

They got the party started as they performed their hits, such as Salt Shaker, Ms. New Booty and Get Low – the Lil Jon and The East Side Boyz’s club hit.

Throughout the evening, fans were treated to special performances by guest artist Rick Ross as well as a surprise appearance by Remy Ma and Connie Diiamond, while fans went wild over Plies and Bow Wow.

Omarion’s performance included a group of male and female back-up dancers while the other artists opted to keep the spotlight for themselves.

Trey Songz closed the evening by mixing up his hits Heart Attack, Can’t Help But Wait, Slow Motion, Na Na and Say Aah.

The 40-year-old’s set lasted until midnight as fans went crazy over him taking his black jacket off then his white t-shirt, eventually leaving him with only a white ribbed tank top. He, of course, gave fans a glimpse of his abs at one point.

The Black Promoters Collective (BPC), one of the leading Black-owned live entertainment powerhouses, announced The Millennium Tour 2025 in November 2024.
