Ledger passed away in 2008 at age 28 following an accidental overdose.

Williams and Ledger welcomed their daughter, Matilda Rose Ledger, in 2005.

The former couple famously met on the set of Brokeback Mountain and dated for three years, before ultimately splitting in 2007, just five months before his tragic death.

In 2020, she and her husband, Thomas Kail, bought a $10.8 million townhouse in Brooklyn Heights together.

Williams and Kail share two kids, one born in 2020 and their youngest in 2022.

Although they confirmed their eldest is a little boy named Hart, they have yet to reveal their second’s gender or moniker.

Her father’s home country is said to be a major destination of note for Matilda.

‘She’ll also be spending a large chunk of time in Australia. She always feels closest to her dad when she’s there and loves nothing more than hearing his childhood stories from all his family,’ the source said.

The insider also claimed Matilda is considering remaining in Australia to pursue her studies.

‘She may even decide to study in Australia, although she does seem to have her heart set on several colleges in New York for now,’ they added.
