Donald Trump said, “My Presidential Personnel Office is actively in the process of identifying and removing over a thousand Presidential Appointees from the previous Administration.”
US President Donald Trump fired four senior government officials who were appointed by Joe Biden as he indicated that “over a thousand more” top ranking bureaucrats could soon face termination. On his social media platform Truth Social, the US President informed about the same in his first post following inauguration.
Donald Trump said, “My Presidential Personnel Office is actively in the process of identifying and removing over a thousand Presidential Appointees from the previous Administration, who are not aligned with our vision to Make America Great Again.”
He added, “Let this serve as Official Notice of Dismissal for these 4 individuals, with many more, coming soon.”
The message concluded with “YOU’RE FIRED!”, Donald Trump’s signature phrase from his role as host of the television programme “The Apprentice”.
The four officials who have been shown the door are: Jose Andres from the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition, Mark Milley from the National Infrastructure Advisory Council, Brian Hook from the Wilson Center for Scholars, and Keisha Lance Bottoms from the President’s Export Council.
Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States after which he signed a slew of executive actions that his new administration is taking to institute major policy changes.
