Warriors vs Lakers | Wednesday, Oct 21, 2026 at 10:00 pm ET | crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles, CA | ESPN
The Golden State Warriors’ championship window is closing. Most would probably say that it is already closed. The team is without Kristaps Porziņģis and Jimmy Butler. The only true offensive threat they have is Steph Curry. As great as he is, he is probably past the point where he can carry a team for 82 games.
The Lakers are turning the keys to the franchise over to Luka Dončić. Even a couple of years after the trade that sent shockwaves through the league, it seems strange to write it. Doncic was one of three players who seemed untouchable, yet he was moved to Los Angeles, and now he looks to give them a championship. He might be surrounded by more talent than he’s had in years.
