Brewers vs. Rays | Monday, October 26, 2026 at 8 p.m. ET | Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, FL | FOX
These two teams meet for the third time, and both teams need to figure out opposite things. Let’s see what the Brewers need to do in order to win the game, and what the Rays need to do in order to counter.
The biggest key for the Brewers in this game is to see if their bullpen can keep their excellent pitching alive. Aaron Ashby has been lights-out, but the broadcast even brought up how the hitters have seen him multiple times now. Perhaps they can pick something up from him. So, maybe the Brewers need to adjust who he throws to, or who they use from the bullpen in general.
The Rays need to find a way to get a hit when they have a runner in scoring position. Tampa has been great this season, and while they’ve scored reasonably well, they seem like they can’t get that key hit to give them the lead they need. Even if the Rays get the lead, they will need to find the right matchups out of their own bullpen to keep the lead.
Which team will crack the code? The Brewers clearly have the upper hand. The Rays are one of the teams that has had plenty of success at home, will they get more tonight?
