The celebrated television host and journalist has been one of Ten Hag’s biggest critics ever since he gave Ronaldo a platform to vent his discontent about the 54-year-old’s management style prior to leaving Old Trafford.
Morgan has frequently poked fun at Ten Hag ever since and celebrated the former Ajax boss being sacked by United after a dismal run of results proved to be irreversible.
United finally pulled the trigger on terminating Ten Hag’s contract after their dismal 2-1 weekend defeat against West Ham left the club languishing 14th in the Premier League standings.
The former Ajax boss only signed a new contract with the club in the summer after winning the FA Cup, but has now left his position with Ruud van Nistelrooy taking over interim charge as the search for a permanent successor gets underway.

The Portuguese superstar previously criticised Ten Hag in a bombshell interview with Morgan during the manager’s first season at the club that resulted in Ronaldo’s second stint in Manchester ending acrimoniously.
Morgan has doubled-down on criticism of Ten Hag ever since and mocked the coach in ruthless fashion online in the immediate aftermath of United’s announcement, venting: ‘Every single word that @Cristiano told me about Ten Hag in our explosive interview was born out by events.
