Chiefs vs. Seahawks | Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 8:20 ET | Lumen Field, Seattle, WA | NBC/Peacock
Two of the best teams in the NFL take the field on Sunday Night Football. The Chiefs won the Super Bowl three years ago, and the Seahawks won it last season. This year the Chiefs are perfect, and the Seahawks are struggling to a 3-3 record. Patrick Mahomes has returned from injury and looks strong. Sam Darnold has been inconsistent at best.
Let’s see how the two teams stack up this season:
Kansas City Chiefs
Offense:
- Scoring Offense: 28.0 PPG (Rank: No. 5)
- Total Yards Per Game: 414.0 YPG (Rank: No. 1)
- Passing Yards Per Game: 254.2 YPG (Rank: No. 9)
- Rushing Yards Per Game: 159.8 YPG (Rank: No. 2)Defense:Scoring Defense: 16.6 PPG allowed (Rank: No. 2)Total Yards Allowed Per Game: 306.0 YPG (Rank: No. 8)Passing Yards Allowed Per Game: 217.2 YPG (Rank: No. 15)Rushing Yards Allowed Per Game: 88.8 YPG (Rank: No. 6)
- Scoring Defense: 16.6 PPG allowed (Rank: No. 2)
- Total Yards Allowed Per Game: 306.0 YPG (Rank: No. 8)
- Passing Yards Allowed Per Game: 217.2 YPG (Rank: No. 15)
- Rushing Yards Allowed Per Game: 88.8 YPG (Rank: No. 6)
Seattle Seahawks
Offense:
- Scoring Offense: 24.7 PPG (Rank: No. 13)
- Total Yards Per Game: 332.2 YPG (Rank: No. 17)
- Passing Yards Per Game: 225.0 YPG (Rank: No. 16)
- Rushing Yards Per Game: 107.2 YPG (Rank: No. 18)
Defense:
- Scoring Defense: 20.3 PPG allowed (Rank: No. 7)
- Total Yards Allowed Per Game: 237.3 YPG (Rank: No. 1)
- Passing Yards Allowed Per Game: 141.3 YPG (Rank: No. 1)
- Rushing Yards Allowed Per Game: 96.0 YPG (Rank: No. 6)
This won’t be an easy game for either team. The Chiefs have one of the best offenses in the game, but they face one of the best defenses in football. Moving the ball could be a challenge for Kansas City. The Seahawks offense hasn’t looked great this season, and now they have to face the second-ranked scoring defense in football.
