The Braves and Dodgers take the field tonight as they prepare for a major battle in Game 3. Underdog is giving you a chance to heighten the excitement with an offer to wager $5 to earn $100 when using promo code FOXNEWS.
When two of the best teams square off in any series, it is always exciting. Put some elimination potential behind the games and it is even more interesting. The Dodgers and Braves are tied 1-1, and the winner of Game 3 in a best-of-five matchup tied at 1-1 goes on to advance about 72% of the time.
The Dodgers are sending out Yoshinobu Yamamoto to the mound for Game 3. He was last year’s World Series MVP and this year looks to reclaim that with more stellar postseason pitching. In 37.1 innings last postseason, he allowed just six earned runs, including two postseason complete games. Yamamoto has had the Braves number over his brief career, holding them to just 10 hits in 51 at-bats. Half of those hits have gone for extra bases, though.

Atlanta brings an Ace of their own with Chris Sale on the mound. Since coming to the Braves, Sale has reinvented himself. In the Wild Card round, Sale and the Braves needed all three games to get the win. Sale started Game 1 and went six innings, allowing three earned runs. He pitched just 1.1 scoreless innings in Game 3. He has been great against the Dodgers in his career, holding their hitters to 28 hits in 140 at-bats.
