Closeout games are always one of the more interesting ones to watch because so much is on the line. Tonight we have one between the Padres and Brewers, and Underdog is offering users a chance to wager $5 and earn $100 when using promo code FOXNEWS.
First pitch tonight is at 9:30 ET. The Milwaukee Brewers were one of the better road teams in baseball, which should be expected considering the team won 103 games this season. They have been postseason mainstays for years, but there has never been the success they are looking for.
After coming from behind in Game 1, they staged an all-out robbery in Game 2. The bottom of the ninth saw them down by one. They had to face Mason Miller, one of the best closers in the game. He walked three hitters, and Jackson Chourio made him pay, hitting a two-run single to win the game.

The Padres should probably feel like this series could be tied. However, they also might think this series could actually be 2-0 in their favor. In Game 1, they had one of the oddest plays happen. The roof was closed at Miller Park, and Ty France hit a bomb to left field. It hit the roof, and the Brewers caught the ball, resulting in an out. That would’ve given the Padres the lead.
Now they return home, and they have to win all three remaining games to take the series. The question is whether that can be done. An optimistic team recognizes they were right there in both games and things didn’t go their way. A pessimistic team will say they lost both games and put up their best effort. It still wasn’t enough.
This is a good test for the Padres to see what they are made of. They have the advantage in starting pitching, and they’ve been phenomenal in San Diego this season. However, this Brewers team seems like they are a team of destiny. Underdog is offering new users the promo code FOXNEWS to play $5 and earn $100 in bonus tokens.
