The Chicago White Sox now have their backs against the wall. The team lost the American League Central to the Guardians and are now on the verge of losing the American League Division Series to them after going up 2-0 in the series. They should still have confidence after winning the first two games in Cleveland.
In order for the White Sox to win this game, they need to have their pitching staff make some adjustments. In the first two games, they allowed just three earned runs. In the past two games, they’ve allowed 18 earned runs. Perhaps the Guardians have figured out the White Sox arms and bullpen.

The Cleveland Guardians have to win one home game in order to advance to the next round. They have come back from down 2-0, and should feel very confident after finally breaking out their bats in Games 3 and 4. They chased down the White Sox to win the division in the regular season, and now are chasing them down to win the playoff series.
Cleveland’s pitching staff hasn’t looked elite in this series. They’ve allowed at least three runs in every game, but they seem to have more options available both in the starting rotation and in the bullpen. Neither team has officially named a starter in this game, but both are likely to use many pitchers based on matchups.
